About
An independent Mac app
for people who explain things.
PadCanvas is made and supported by Ibrahim Sowunmi, trading as a sole trader in the United Kingdom.
Why PadCanvas exists
Explaining something on a Mac usually means hunting for the cursor, or standing at the trackpad while everyone looks at the back of your head. PadCanvas puts the pen in your hand. Draw on your iPhone or iPad, or let someone join from their own browser, and the marks appear on the Mac’s screen, in the room and on the call.
How it’s built
- Your screen stays on your devices. Drawing and Live view travel directly between your Mac and your devices over USB, Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth, not through PadCanvas servers.
- You allow every device. Nothing draws on your screen until you click Allow on the Mac.
- No ads, no trackers. The website and apps don’t use advertising or analytics trackers.
- One simple plan. Seven days free, then £4.99 a year, with the iPhone and iPad app included.
- Signed and kept up to date. The Mac app is signed with a Developer ID, notarised by Apple and, from version 1.0 (30), updates itself when you say so.
